Solutions Architect
Who we are
We build game-changing products and scalable platforms for complex, high-volume digital markets.
Our cross-functional teams create online platforms and software solutions that reach hundreds of thousands of users every day.
What you’ll do
- Own the architecture of specific functional areas and components, ensuring that it is scalable, maintainable and aligned with the overall architectural strategy.
- Collaborate with the central Architecture team to understand the company’s architectural vision, standards and guidelines.
- Work closely with Product Leaders to understand medium- and long-term product strategies and define the corresponding architectural roadmaps.
- Align with key technical stakeholders, including DevOps, Application Security, Platform and Database teams, to ensure architectural consistency throughout the organisation.
- Define and validate non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, reliability and maintainability, ensuring they are incorporated into the overall solution design.
- Empower development teams to participate actively in solution design while ensuring alignment with architectural principles, standards and business requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to transform technical solutions into realistic delivery plans, including scope, estimates, milestones, implementation phases, dependencies and build order.
- Provide ongoing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Identify, prioritise and lead architectural and technical initiatives that continuously improve products while maintaining compliance with standards and best practices.
- Remain hands-on by contributing high-quality code when required, supporting strategic projects, evaluating new technologies and developing proofs of concept.
- Design systems, interfaces and technical documentation with AI-assisted software delivery in mind.
- Translate architectural decisions and standards into conventions and guardrails that enable consistent, compliant and high-quality AI-driven development.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience designing and documenting software architectures, particularly for modern web platforms and distributed front-end architectures such as microfrontends and Module Federation.
- Experience in multidisciplinary roles combining software architecture, software development, technical leadership, business analysis, project delivery and web performance optimisation.
- The ability to analyse problems from both business and engineering perspectives, creating solutions that meet technical requirements while providing excellent user experiences and scalable web applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Extensive hands-on software development experience and the ability to contribute as a senior individual contributor when necessary.
- Experience with modern component-based frameworks and rendering strategies such as Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
- Strong experience documenting complex architectures, technical solutions and integration patterns clearly and concisely.
- Knowledge of front-end integration with modular APIs and back-end services.
- The ability to estimate effort, timelines, milestones, iterations and project scope accurately.
- The ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, respond to changing priorities and adapt architectural strategies when required.
- Experience designing and developing applications on major cloud platforms.
- A solid understanding of technologies used for delivering global web applications, including CDNs and edge computing.
- Sound judgement when guiding engineering teams in the responsible use of AI throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
